I am pleased to announce, as a outstanding school, that Belle Vue Girls’ School has taken the opportunity to convert to Academy status. Following a series of consultations and discussions the process was completed on April 1st 2012. We have decided to keep the same name, which is well respected and known across the district. The day to day leadership and management of the school remains the same but gives us greater opportunity to access other streams of funding and greater levels of autonomy. Please note our new headline banner and headed notepaper.
As final school examinations approach, we continue to support all our students and parents at this stressful time. Best of luck to everyone.

On behalf of the staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome you to the Belle Vue Girls’ School website. We have just under 1200 students on roll and nearly 300 in the Sixth form. By sending your daughter to Belle Vue, you can be assured of high quality pathways to success at GCSE, into the Sixth form and onwards to university, careers, or employment. The number of students in school has increased dramatically over the last 3 years, due to the success of students, their achievements in both public examinations and their desire and aspiration to be well educated. Inspectors commented that- ‘the students are proud of their school and unanimously describe it as brilliant when asked their opinion. Parents and carers are very supportive of the school and value the education it provides for their daughter.’
