The Confederation

Being a member of a Confederation of Bradford Schools means Belle Vue Girls’ School is able to offer a wider range of subjects at Level 3 to its sixth form students.  Bradford is divided into three confederations, each with a group of secondary schools, colleges and work-based learning providers.  They exist to give more choice and opportunities so that students can choose a personalised and appropriate route through education and training and achieve their personal goals.

Belle Vue Girls’ School is a member of the Central Confederation which includes the following secondary schools and colleges.

Beckfoot School
Belle Vue Boys’ School
Belle Vue Girls’ School
Carlton Bolling College
Challenge College
Feversham College
Hanson School
Immanuel College
Laisterdyke BFC
Aire Valley School
St Bede’s RC Grammar School
St Joseph’s RC Grammar School
Titus Salt School
Bradford College
Park Lane College, Keighley
Shipley College

As a confederation, we align our teaching times for many subjects to allow a broader choice of A levels and work closely together to

ensure the highest levels of success for those students who study across two or more sites.
